This week has been an interesting one - Sept 30,2013

sooooo, this was an interesting one here in brazil. it started out good cause we had a family night marked.and i went to get joão victo, my recent convert, and take him there. it was at his friends who passed his address to us. when i was getting him, i found his friend who asked to be baptized, that kids brother, and one other of their friends. i took them all there and they'll all probably get baptized.
then the bad news comes.. i was transferred... again.
the assistant just told me not to worry about my bags cause ill be ´serving close to my house´´. well i got transferred to an area called vera cruz. its still part of the same ward but like 20 km from the church. we have to take 3 buses to get there. we have like 5 different cities just in our area that us 2 work. we had to travel more than a hour by bus just for lunch.. i have to navigate everything with the buses. im an American lost in brazil. it will be a little harder taking investigators now.. and i got a new comp. another Brazilian from são paulo. but theres a HUGE difference between him and the last my other was in his last transfer there and this one is in his........ first.
yupp im training. wow what a challenge this is. especially since im not used to anythinggg. they didnt have missionaries here the last transfer so we have to start everything from scratch. the house was sooooo dirty we used more than 6 hours just cleaning. the first day i wanted to cry. and we working with a couple in the other area. they both are 18 and the girls a member but not the guy. hes down to be baptized though. they just have to get married first. i took the papers on them with me and am trying to get it authorized to keep working with them. but at church yesterday he told me he wants me to baptize him. i got wayyyyy stoked. i just want to keep working with them
. i said its not important if the number counts for the other area.... i just want to keep working with them. theyre changing some rules here. i guess being baptized with 8 years is only a rule to some people. but in the brazil goiania mission.... not anymore.. we cant baptize anyone under 16 unless were baptizing the family with them.. if its a special condition. and they have to go to seminary at least one time before and be enrolled if they're in that age group. things just got much more difficult. i got a letter from my recent convert cauã and my mom from fama. he legit was sad i got transferred. i was transferred the week after i baptized him... but hopefully i see a bunch of people at general conference. theres 2 churches they stream it at here and im at oneo f them. but the other is closer to that ward. a lot of people from there know im here i think so hopefully they come here but hopefully things will start going better. theres some people in the ward keepin me going here soo.. yea i think thats about it.
